The arrangement
between us.
These are the terms you agree to when you connect a YouTube account to Reavo. They're written plainly and short — no clauses that exist only to scare you. Where the law in your jurisdiction overrides what's written here, the law wins.
What Reavo is
Reavo is a hosted software service that reads your YouTube Watch Later, groups its contents into themed playlists you've named, and writes those playlists back to your YouTube account. It is not a video player and does not stream, host, or otherwise serve video content. Playback always happens in YouTube's own apps.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure. If we suspect a sign-in is no longer you (long inactivity, sudden region change, revoked Google access), we may pause sorts and ask you to reconnect.
What you let me do
By connecting, you grant Reavo permission to read your Watch Later playlist and to create, modify, and delete YouTube playlists that Reavo itself creates on your behalf. You don't grant Reavo permission to touch any other playlist, your subscriptions, your liked videos, or your Watch Later contents (only read, never write to Watch Later).
What I won't do
I won't play, like, or comment on videos. I won't subscribe to channels on your behalf. I won't post anywhere. I won't share your queue with anyone. I won't sell your data. I won't train models on your queue (see the Privacy notice for the technical detail).
Plans, pricing, and trials
Free includes up to 3 buckets and one nightly sort. Pro lifts that to unlimited buckets, more frequent sorts, the daily digest email, and the other features listed on the pricing page. Pro is billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. New Pro accounts get a 14-day free trial; you'll only be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
Cancelling, downgrading, refunds
Cancel any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Downgrading from Pro to Free leaves your existing buckets in place — they just stop being created above the Free limit. Refunds aren't routine but I'll consider them on request when something on Reavo's end clearly went wrong.
Service availability
Reavo is best-effort. I'll aim to keep nightly sorts running and the site up, but there's no SLA, no uptime guarantee, and no promise that any specific sort will succeed (YouTube's API can hit quota, Azure OpenAI can have a bad night, the universe is large). When sorts fail, I'll surface the failure on your dashboard and try again at the next scheduled run.
Acceptable use
Don't try to sign in as someone else. Don't try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. Don't use Reavo to enrich or sort content you don't have a right to be watching in the first place. Don't try to drive YouTube quota costs at me by automating bucket churn. Reavo isn't intended for users under 13 — if you are, please don't use it.
YouTube and Google
Reavo's use of YouTube is governed by the YouTube API Services Terms (youtube.com/t/terms) and Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can revoke Reavo's access at any time at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Reavo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Our content
The Reavo name, mark, and visual design are mine. The code is mine. You don't get a licence to redistribute, repackage, or pass off the service as your own. Your videos and your buckets remain yours — Reavo claims no ownership over what you save.
Termination
I can close an account that breaks these terms or that's been clearly abandoned (revoked Google access for more than six months — see Google's six-month inactivity rule). You can close your account from Settings at any time. On termination, see the Privacy notice for what gets deleted and when.
Liability
Reavo is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — for example, missed videos, deleted playlists you'd reorganised by hand, or a bucket that wasn't to your taste. Total liability is capped at what you've paid for the current billing period (so for Free users, that's nothing).
Changes to these terms
If I change anything material, I'll email account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Reavo after the change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel from Settings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes go through the courts of NSW unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction says otherwise.
